Vulvar cancer breakthrough: personalized surgery based on HPV and p53

Summary
This study looks at whether the type of early-stage vulvar cancer (based on HPV and p53 status) needs more or less surgery than usual. About 249 adults with stage I-II vulvar squamous cell carcinoma will have their surgery guided by these markers. The goal is to see if this personalized approach reduces cancer recurrence and improves survival.
