Virtual reality helps students remember therapy skills better than classroom lessons

NCT ID NCT07270107

Summary

This study tested whether learning physical therapy skills through immersive virtual reality (VR) is better than traditional classroom teaching. Twenty physiotherapy students were split into two groups: one learned using VR headsets, the other through standard lectures and demonstrations. While both groups learned the material initially, the VR group was better at remembering and performing the hands-on skills two weeks later.
