Virtual reality vs. real world: which therapy better treats fear of crowds?
NCT ID NCT06514495
Summary
This study compares two types of therapy for people with agoraphobia (fear of open spaces or crowds): traditional real-world exposure and newer virtual reality exposure. Researchers will measure how these therapies affect participants' awareness of their own body signals and stress responses. The goal is to understand why some people respond better to treatment than others.
