Virtual reality outperforms peers in teaching nurses key exam skills
NCT ID NCT06536361
Summary
This study tested whether using immersive virtual reality (VR) is better than traditional peer practice for teaching nursing students how to perform a complete respiratory system physical exam. 76 second-year nursing students were randomly assigned to learn using either a VR simulation or by practicing in small groups with fellow students. The goal was to see which method improved students' knowledge and practical skills more effectively.
