Virtual reality takes on shoulder pain: can gaming beat Hands-On therapy?
NCT ID NCT07369934
Summary
This study is testing whether virtual reality exercise training works as well as a hands-on manual therapy technique for people with shoulder impingement pain. Researchers will compare how both approaches, when added to standard exercise therapy, affect pain levels, shoulder movement, and posture. The trial involves 74 adults aged 30-50 with diagnosed shoulder impingement who haven't had recent treatments.
