Summary
This study is testing whether virtual reality (VR) therapy is as effective as a common anxiety medication (sertraline) for treating social anxiety in adolescents and young adults. It will involve 56 participants aged 12-17 who have social anxiety disorder. The goal is to see which approach better reduces anxiety symptoms and is more acceptable to young people and their families.
