Summary

This study compares virtual reality (VR) training against traditional mannequin training for teaching medical students how to manage airway trauma emergencies. Forty University of Toronto medical students were randomly assigned to learn using either VR simulations or physical mannequins, then tested on their skills one week later. Researchers aim to determine if VR can provide effective, more accessible training that could lead to better patient care in the future.
