VR glasses battle game cards to ease Kids' pain during stitches and bandaging
NCT ID NCT07335666
Summary
This study tested two distraction methods to help children aged 5 to 10 feel less fear, anxiety, and pain during wound care like cleaning or stitching. Researchers compared using immersive virtual reality glasses to simple distraction game cards, with a third group receiving standard care alone. The goal was to find effective, drug-free ways to make these necessary medical procedures less distressing for kids.
