Virtual games aim to keep seniors steady on their feet
NCT ID NCT06727942
Summary
This study is testing whether adding virtual reality games to treadmill walking can help older adults improve their balance, memory, and overall quality of life while reducing the risk of falls. Researchers will compare a group using the VR-enhanced treadmill to a group walking on a regular treadmill over 5 weeks. The goal is to see if the fun, game-like activity leads to better real-world benefits than standard exercise.
