Walk a mile in their shoes: VR aims to fight mental health stigma
NCT ID NCT07375199
Summary
This study is testing whether a short virtual reality (VR) experience can reduce stigma against people with schizophrenia. Healthcare workers and students will use VR to see and hear simulated hallucinations and delusions, aiming to build empathy. Researchers will measure changes in their attitudes and behaviors toward schizophrenia before the VR, right after, and one month later.
