Summary
This study is testing if using virtual reality (VR) therapy right after a major limb amputation can prevent or reduce phantom limb pain. Researchers will enroll 50 patients who are scheduled for amputation. The goal is to see if early VR use can help the brain adapt better and reduce the need for pain medications.
