VR headsets fight youth anxiety and depression in new hong kong trial
NCT ID NCT06876779
Summary
This study is testing whether virtual reality (VR) therapy can help reduce social anxiety and depression in young people aged 15-24 in Hong Kong. Ninety participants will try six VR sessions that simulate social situations, aiming to make therapy more engaging than traditional talk therapy. Researchers will measure changes in anxiety and depression symptoms during and after the treatment to see if VR is an effective and cost-friendly option.
