VR headset trial aims to restore vision damaged by stroke

NCT ID NCT07185971

Summary

This study is testing whether a virtual reality (VR) headset therapy can improve vision in people with long-term visual field loss from stroke, brain injury, or brain surgery. Participants will use the VR system weekly for up to 24 weeks to see if it helps expand their field of view better than a placebo treatment. The goal is to see if this therapy can help restore some lost vision and improve daily visual function.
