Summary
This study tested whether virtual reality could help people with schizophrenia improve their social skills and daily functioning. Thirty-seven participants with stable schizophrenia completed 12 weekly VR sessions that simulated real-life social situations. Researchers measured whether this immersive training helped participants feel more comfortable in social settings and improved their ability to handle everyday tasks.
