Virtual reality goggles offer new hope for social isolation in schizophrenia
NCT ID NCT07326618
Summary
This study tested whether a virtual reality (VR) program could help people with schizophrenia improve their social skills and daily functioning. Thirty-seven participants with stable symptoms watched 360-degree videos of real-life social situations during 12 weekly sessions. The goal was to see if this safe, immersive practice could help them feel more comfortable and capable in social settings.
