Gaming your way to less back pain? VR therapy tested for herniated discs
NCT ID NCT07309627
Summary
This study tested whether adding virtual reality (VR) games to standard physical therapy could help people with a long-term herniated disc in their lower back. Researchers compared two groups of 93 adults to see if VR improved their balance, pain levels, fear of moving, mood, and overall quality of life. The goal was to find a more engaging way to aid recovery from this common back condition.
