Virtual reality goggles aim to teach emotional skills to children with autism

NCT ID NCT07367256

Summary

This study is testing whether using virtual reality (VR) headsets can help children with high-functioning autism learn to better recognize and understand emotions. Researchers will compare a VR-based training program to the same program taught without the technology. The goal is to see if the immersive VR experience makes it easier for these children to build important social and emotional skills.
