NCT ID NCT04786951

Summary

This study tested a new therapy using virtual reality (VR) and eye-tracking technology to help teenagers with anorexia nervosa. Researchers wanted to see if using VR to gently guide attention away from perceived flaws during a body exposure session could reduce anxiety and improve treatment outcomes. The study involved 75 female adolescents aged 12-17 who received this experimental therapy alongside standard care.
