Scientists test VR headsets to boost Athletes' mental game
NCT ID NCT07356427
Summary
This study tested whether using virtual reality (VR) headsets for tennis training could improve players' confidence, focus, and enjoyment more than traditional coaching. 180 university tennis players were split into two groups: one used VR headsets for training twice a week for 8 weeks, while the other received standard coaching. Researchers measured psychological factors like self-belief and intention to keep using the technology to see if VR offers a mental edge.
