Summary

This study tested whether a 9-day virtual reality (VR) training program could improve surgical skills for postpartum hysterectomy in 33 junior Zambian doctors. Participants were randomly assigned to VR training or standard education. Results showed the VR group had significantly better surgical knowledge, confidence, and technical skills, suggesting VR can help train surgeons in areas with limited resources.
