Video games for stroke recovery? pilot study tests VR rehab
NCT ID NCT07254676
Summary
This small pilot study tested whether adding virtual reality (VR) exercises to standard physical therapy could help people recover arm function better after a recent stroke. Fifty-two adults who had a stroke within the past week were randomly assigned to receive either standard therapy alone or standard therapy plus two weeks of VR training. The goal was to see if the VR group showed greater improvement in arm movement, strength, and daily function.
