Could your VR headset skew your blood test?
NCT ID NCT07042178
Summary
This study aims to understand if watching relaxing or exciting virtual reality (VR) videos changes the results of common blood tests. Researchers will enroll 24 healthy volunteers to watch a calming beach scene and a thrilling rollercoaster ride in VR, taking blood samples before and after each video. The goal is to see if these experiences affect stress-related markers in the blood, which could help make future medical tests more accurate.
