First seen Apr 07, 2026 · Last updated Apr 17, 2026 · Updated 1 time
Summary
This study tested whether a virtual reality (VR) exercise program could help teens recover better after spinal fusion surgery for scoliosis. For 6 weeks, one group used VR games for daily exercise, while another received standard physical therapy. Researchers measured improvements in back mobility, breathing strength, activity levels, and overall quality of life to see if the VR approach was more effective.
