VR headsets aim to make ICU recovery less traumatic

NCT ID NCT07089134

Summary

This study is testing if using immersive virtual reality (VR) during physical therapy can improve the recovery experience for patients in the intensive care unit (ICU). Researchers will compare VR-based rehab to standard physical therapy in 90 patients to see if VR makes rehab more enjoyable, reduces stress, and helps patients get stronger and more mobile. The main goal is to see if patients are more satisfied and motivated with VR rehab.
