Virtual nature walks may ease breathing struggles after heart surgery
NCT ID NCT07331558
Summary
This study is testing if adding virtual reality (VR) to standard exercise rehab helps people recover better after heart bypass surgery. It will compare three groups: one doing exercises while watching calming nature scenes through VR goggles, one doing the same exercises without VR, and one doing the exercises remotely from home. The main goal is to see if VR can help reduce shortness of breath, improve heart and lung fitness, and boost overall quality of life during recovery.
