VR goggles aim to rewire the Brain's pain response
NCT ID NCT07305597
Summary
This study is testing if using virtual reality (VR) to teach people about how pain works in the brain and body can help those with long-term, unexplained low back pain. Researchers will compare standard core-strengthening exercises to the same exercises plus VR-based pain education. They want to see if this combined approach better reduces pain, fear of movement, and disability in 60 participants.
