Forest walks in VR to calm surgery nerves
NCT ID NCT07214116
Summary
This study aims to see if simple, non-drug methods can make surgery for an ingrown toenail less stressful and painful. Researchers will test if watching an educational video before surgery, and then using virtual reality or listening to music during the procedure, helps reduce anxiety compared to standard surgery. They will enroll 175 adults and measure their anxiety, pain, and satisfaction levels.
