Summary

This study tested whether short virtual reality (VR) or mixed reality (MR) exercise breaks during the workday can improve mood and thinking skills. Twenty-eight desk workers who don't exercise regularly tried VR exergaming, MR exergaming, or passive rest. Researchers measured their mood, reaction times, and heart rate to see which break worked best.
