VR goggles aim to spot and treat hidden brain injury side effect

NCT ID NCT07227844

Summary

This small pilot study is testing a new virtual reality (VR) headset system designed to help diagnose and treat 'neglect,' a common attention problem where people have difficulty noticing things on one side after a stroke or brain injury. The study will see if the VR system is safe and practical to use, and if it can accurately detect the problem and help improve attention over time. Researchers hope it could lead to a more accessible tool for both assessment and personalized therapy.
