First seen Feb 06, 2026 · Last updated May 15, 2026 · Updated 9 times
Summary
This study looks at whether using virtual reality goggles or a kaleidoscope can lower fear and anxiety in children aged 4 to 6 during a kidney scan called renal scintigraphy. The scan requires kids to stay still, which can be scary. The goal is to find a simple, non-drug way to help children feel more comfortable during the procedure.
