VR glasses ease fear for heart patients
NCT ID NCT07032935
Summary
This study tested whether wearing virtual reality (VR) glasses could help patients feel calmer during a coronary angiography, a common heart test. Researchers gave 84 patients VR glasses to use as a distraction during the procedure to see if it reduced their anxiety. They measured patients' anxiety levels and vital signs like heart rate and blood pressure before and after using the VR.
