Virtual reality offers escape during C-Section surgery
NCT ID NCT07247643
Summary
This study is testing whether watching calming nature videos through virtual reality (VR) glasses can make repeat C-sections less stressful and more comfortable. It will involve 96 women having a planned C-section with spinal anesthesia. Half will use the VR glasses during the procedure to see if it helps distract them from the surgery and improves their overall satisfaction and comfort afterward.
