VR therapy shows promise for shame in sexually abused teens

Summary
This study tested a short virtual reality program called SHINE-VR designed to help teenagers aged 12-17 who feel shame after sexual abuse. Six teens who were already in PTSD treatment tried the VR program. The goal was to see if it could reduce trauma-related shame and increase self-compassion.
