Virtual reality goggles aim to ease fears before major cancer surgery

NCT ID NCT07016880

Summary

This study is testing whether using virtual reality (VR) before surgery can help reduce anxiety and improve vital signs in women scheduled for gynecologic cancer surgery. 66 participants will be randomly assigned to either use calming VR content or receive standard care before their operation. The goal is to see if this safe, drug-free approach can make the pre-surgery experience less stressful and more satisfying for patients.
