Summary
This study tested whether wearing virtual reality goggles during a prostate biopsy could help reduce patient anxiety and improve comfort. Seventy men undergoing the procedure were randomly assigned to either wear VR goggles showing relaxing nature scenes or receive no special intervention. Researchers measured anxiety and comfort levels before and after the biopsy, and checked for complications 24 hours later.
