VR goggles offer escape from painful wound care
NCT ID NCT07114003
Summary
This study is testing whether using virtual reality (VR) goggles during dressing changes for pressure sores can help reduce patients' pain and anxiety. Researchers will compare pain and anxiety levels in about 62 patients who either use VR or receive standard care during the procedure. The goal is to see if this distraction technique makes the uncomfortable dressing process easier and improves patient satisfaction.
