Virtual reality distraction tested to ease Kids' laser procedure pain

NCT ID NCT05645224

Summary

This study is testing whether a virtual reality game can help reduce pain and anxiety for children and young adults during repeated laser skin procedures. Researchers are comparing the VR game to a control group using the same VR headset without a game. The goal is to see if this distraction method is practical and effective for managing discomfort during these outpatient visits.
