Summary
This study looks at whether using virtual reality (VR) along with usual pain medicine can help older adults (65+) feel less pain and anxiety when they come to the emergency room with sudden muscle or bone pain. About 180 participants will be randomly assigned to get either standard pain treatment alone or standard treatment plus a VR experience. The goal is to see if VR makes pain relief better and improves patient satisfaction.
