Forest views fight fear: VR tested to ease pain of medical procedure
NCT ID NCT06811259
Summary
This study tested whether using virtual reality (VR) during a cervical biopsy could make the procedure less painful and scary. Researchers had 60 women either watch calming nature videos through VR headsets during the biopsy or receive standard care. They then compared the pain and anxiety levels reported by both groups to see if the VR distraction helped.
