Virtual reality tested to ease cancer Patients' procedure anxiety

NCT ID NCT06927804

Summary

This study is testing whether using virtual reality (VR) headsets can help cancer patients feel less stressed and uncomfortable during a minor procedure to implant a port for treatment. Researchers will compare patients receiving standard care to those who also use VR during the procedure. They will measure stress, anxiety, and discomfort using questionnaires and physical measurements like heart rate.
