Virtual worlds fight real pain: VR tested as new tool for cancer patients
NCT ID NCT07497451
Summary
This study is testing whether virtual reality (VR) can help reduce pain for women with advanced breast cancer. Researchers in Jordan will compare two types of VR experiences—one fully immersive with a headset and one on a computer screen—against standard pain care. The goal is to see if these relaxing, guided VR sessions provide extra pain relief when used alongside regular medications.
