Calming VR worlds ease Bath-Time struggles for Alzheimer's patients

NCT ID NCT07264439

Summary

This study is testing whether using a virtual reality headset with relaxing, hypnotic scenes can help make bath and hygiene care easier for people with Alzheimer's or related disorders who often get anxious, agitated, or resistant. It will compare the VR approach to standard care for 24 patients. The main goal is to see if VR can reduce fear, pain, anxiety, and opposition during these daily care routines.
