Summary
This study tested a new virtual reality (VR) and eye-tracking program to help 75 teenage girls with anorexia nervosa. The program aimed to reduce unhealthy focus on weight-related body parts and ease body dissatisfaction and fear of weight gain. Participants used VR to experience body exposure therapy while eye-tracking guided attention away from problem areas. The goal was to improve standard treatment by making it more effective.
