Summary

This study looked at whether adding virtual reality exercises to regular hockey training could help young players improve their balance, ankle movement, agility, and shooting accuracy. Thirty youth hockey players, aged 16 to 25, were split into two groups: one did only routine training, while the other also used a Nintendo Wii Balance Board for 6 weeks. Researchers measured their skills before, right after, and 3 weeks later to see if the VR training made a difference.
