Mind over pain: can how you think during VR exercise ease back pain?
NCT ID NCT07414017
Summary
This study is testing whether the way older adults think during virtual reality (VR) exercise affects their recovery from chronic low back pain. Researchers will compare two mental focus strategies: one that directs attention to the effects of movement in the VR world, and another that focuses on controlling body movements. The goal is to see which approach better improves balance, strength, and reduces the risk of falls and frailty over a six-week exercise program.
