Nursing school goes High-Tech: students learn shots in virtual reality and escape rooms
NCT ID NCT06858514
Summary
This study tested whether using video game-style teaching methods helps nursing students learn a specific medical skill better. Researchers taught 54 first-year nursing students how to give a subcutaneous injection. One group used a virtual reality game, another played an educational escape room, and a third group learned with traditional demonstration. The goal was to see which method improved the students' skill performance and confidence the most.
