Can VR goggles teach caregivers more compassion?
NCT ID NCT07044492
Summary
This study is testing whether a special training program can help nursing assistants in nursing homes feel more empathy for their elderly residents. About 100 licensed nursing assistants will either try a 3-week program using virtual reality to experience life from a resident's perspective, or continue with their normal routine. Researchers will measure changes in empathy, attitudes, and caring behaviors to see if the VR training works.
