Virtual reality glasses help patients learn Self-Care after surgery
NCT ID NCT07283432
Summary
This study tested whether watching educational videos through virtual reality glasses helps patients care for themselves after weight-loss surgery. Researchers worked with 60 patients, giving half of them a 15-20 minute VR training session before leaving the hospital. They then followed up with all patients by phone to see if the VR training improved their ability to manage their own recovery over three months.
