Virtual bike rides could boost elderly rehab motivation

NCT ID NCT07459439

Summary

This study is testing whether adding virtual reality cycling to regular rehabilitation is practical for older adults (65+) in temporary inpatient care. Researchers want to see if participants can complete at least 75% of the VR cycling sessions offered, and whether the VR makes exercise more engaging. The goal is to gather information to design a larger future study about whether this approach actually improves rehabilitation outcomes.
