Doctors try VR headsets during colonoscopies in new pilot study

NCT ID NCT07220174

Summary

This pilot study will test whether doctors can safely and effectively use virtual reality software during colonoscopy procedures. Gastroenterologists will use VR headsets to view the colonoscopy video feed instead of traditional monitors. The study will evaluate how easy the system is to use, whether it causes any problems during procedures, and how doctors feel about using VR technology in this medical setting.
